Sector: Sicily - Southern Italy - OPERATION: SLAPSTICK
The British landing force has secured the beaches and begun marching inland. Ensuing divisions are landing at Taranto. The US Fifth Army and V Corps continue their march north from Calabria. No contact has yet been made with the Germans along the Ofanto River. I’m expecting that to change next turn.
